Tango 4 Classical

The Neue Musikzeitung called Cecilia Pillado “Pioneer and Trend Setter” because of her continuous interest of playing and recording innovative repertoire including Argentinian Tangos, presenting them to classical audiences in concert halls. For this reason the great Tango Legend Horacio Salgán said about her: “Esta chica dignifica al Tango” (This girl dignifies the Tango)

Tango 4 Classical is also the aim of Tango Malambo without excluding to bring its recordings to the traditional tango audiences with:

-Virtuoso arrangements of traditional popular tangos by Cecilia Pillado -Argentinian classical composers who wrote Tangos for the concert hall (from 1880 until our days)

- Tangos by modern and contemporary international composers (e.g. Igor Stravinsky)

- Tango Nuevo by Astor Piazzolla
